Tire size F 235/45 18, R 265/40 18 Michelin pilot 4S, I splurged on the tires. I also installed projector fog lamps, why because I felt like it. 👍 I picked those sizes in tires because I am xDrive, and they were the lowest percentage of diameter difference. 0.07% difference and no speedometer differences either.
Also added 50th anniversary badges to the front and rear wheels, puddle lights and the steering wheel, because I liked how they looked. Yes, they are Aliexpress, probably bootlegged, Chinese hardware, but they looked good and the fit is about a 9.5 out of 10 and the little M stickers on the wheels survived the first wheel wash with Adam's wheel and tire cleaner so I guess I lucked out.
These look really good actually. Where did you pick up the reps?

Actually I got the wheels from ebay, believe it or not. Just do a search for 437m replica wheels in the size you want.

Front Strut Brace

Installed a Weicher's Aluminum strut brace. Had the tower brackets and center section powder coated to match the Black Sapphire Metallic paint on the car. I wanted the brace but wanted to keep the look subtle OEM+. I am very happy with the result. Put about 100 miles on it today; it's not a staggering difference, but it's very noticeable and pairs nicely with the other work I've done over the past 12 months. Before pic of the brace and a pic of it in the bay:

Mono Ball Journey

One thing led to another, and here we are today.
I love my steering input now, and corner exists.

The mono balls are a bit more chatty, and we will see how long they last on a primarily street-driven car. The Turner (Blue) rebranded SPL arms are only four months old with 2K miles, and they already have some extreme color fade on two of the four arms. I got them because I like blue over black. Oh well...
On the practical side, they are doing a great job keeping the rear planted whilst going around corners.

I still want and awaiting an order for KW V3 placed on December 1st, 2022.
That will be the final piece!

I haven't worked on the N55, but getting to plug 6 on the B58 required taking off a bunch of bracing and trim at the back of the engine compartment. It wasn't too bad, but I did have to buy some E* sockets and honestly doing all of that was more work than changing the plugs themselves. Still got it done in a roughly an hour.

Finally got around to doing the LCI trim update, just as easy as I thought it would be, and much easier than the time I swapped e38 illuminated interior door handles into my old e39, glad modding has gotten somewhat eaiser over the years

Dual exhaust conversion bits here, just waiting for carbon tips ( although might make some at work, perk of being a F1 engineer)

Looks like a simple install , how often have we told ourselves that!

They do not however substitute a general leather conditioning with leather cleaner and milk, maybe once or twice a year. They are just intended for daily care inbetween.

I've been using Armor All leather wipes for daily maintenance recently. They keep the wheel matte pretty well. Thanks for the tip.

Will get some when it stops raining, meanwhile , today I decided to tackle the exhaust conversion. Quite straightforward really , all you need is a reciprocating saw, a few sockets , a impact driver and a fine selection of swear words!

Nice work, looks good, how does it sound? The exhaust, not the echo of your finely curated swear words...
