Vibrations at over 136km/h

Greetings from the US,

I occasionally have an opportunity to be able to drive on open highways at speeds over 130km/hr.

At these speeds I begin to feel a slight vibration through the steering wheel. What would cause this?

My suspension and rims are 8 yrs old. Tires are essentially new.

most probably badly balanced rim.

Certainly rims to check, steering rods and convergence
