F30 insurance related question

I have a 2016 340i. Today my neighbor hit my car badly. I have a downpipe and a tune that my insurance is not aware of. Should I go to a shop to put on the old downpipe before going through insurance for the fix or do I not need to worry about it?

How badly? Any damages to the engine bay? Even so, the repair shop is not going to report you to the insurance company. If needed you talk to them to make sure.
