What about the "Send Destination to Car" feature in Google Maps (not via the BMW Connected app) - does this work on the new platform? It used to work a long time ago on the old platform, but then stopped working.

I have added mine through ConnectedDrive portal last year and I have lost this service along with BMW Online after switching to the new platform. Not sure about other ppl who are experiencing the same problem.

I have to say, that this is rather poorly executed migration to the new system by BMW, considering a long list of issues described here by members. We are practically testing this new software for them while cannot use services we paid for. I fully appreciate the complexities involved in such projects and the new platform seems like a vast improvement. Having said that, BMW Canada should do the right thing and give us a discount next time these services are up for renewal.

Hi Cinergi,

The ‘Send to Car’ from Google on your PC or Mac is working again!

Doesn't work for me. Google map says cannot communicate with manufacturer.

So I went to dealership to reset my account, they even cannot reset. It's said an error occurred. Maybe this is why my car won't receive the confirmation code.

Mine works, sort of.

So, my account seems to be on the Canadian site, but my App is US and it calls me Mark (which is not my name) Kind of reminds me of this;



...anyway, all of my stuff in the app on my phone is in miles and when I go to add a dealer, I can only add American dealers.

Weird part is, last week I picked up an additional car, I plugged in my phone and adding my car failed, but when I got home, I was able to add the new car on the portal on my computer using the VIN, and now it showed up in the app on my phone.

I called the number that is listed in the Canadian portal for help to see if they could switch stuff to Canadian, the guy I spoke to said that the Canadian people can only be reached by email. I have not emailed them as I would rather have something that kind of works, rather than have them reset everything and have nothing work.

I know this may not be particularly helpful, I just wanted to share my experience as parts of it may help someone troubleshoot their configuration.

BMW Remote?

Anyone using BMW Remote? Mine wont log me in since yesterday. I switched to the new connecteddrive domain some time ago and everything was working fine.
=( I use it to check the charge status on my 330e and now i have to walk outside to see it

I do not use BMW Remote app, as I've switched to BMW Connected app, but all remote functions are working for me.

The Connected App that you are using is for the US market which is why the name doesn't match and you are seeing US content.

The Canadian version of the Connected App will be launching mid October.
