Vinyl wrapped front diagonal support bars

Not sure if there's an old thread on this but here's an Easy 10 min diy. Bought some vinyl from Amazon and covered the front bars. Not difficult at all to do. Just had to remove weather stripping from top of bumper where the hood closes down on, unscrew all top torx screws from bumper attachment to frame then snake in my hands and pop off kidney grills. I'm pleased with the result. It gives a nice subtle accent.

Thanks! I've seen a couple of bimmers on IG with them color matched and I liked the look so I went ahead with it

Love it. I should’ve done this when I recently put on my Jbspeed grills. Good job.

I agree with wdeerfield - good job, but for me I rather have these stay black & blend in so unnoticed

But hey, it's your car - whatever makes ya happy

I like the idea of this. I sell 3M Scotchlite Black reflective (reflects white) and am going to wrap them in this. Just waiting for some new kidney grills to turn up so I can wrap them at the same time. Will post photos when fitted

(I'll just be wrapping the bars... not the grills!)

Please post day/night photos when you do that. That sounds very interesting to me!
