Got 'er flashed. Easy process. Now for a spin and a data log or two.
Already gave it a few rips stationary and can hear burbles Quick question... Im assuming its not a problem that it identified my VIN as an N20 when technically Im N26 ? For some reason I coulda swore there was N26 specific maps but I could be nuts. |

Another thing I was wondering about in regard to altitude. Do you guys think it will have an impact on how my car functions with BM3 loaded....
I live at 2,000 ft. I daily drive down to sea level elevations and back. I weekly drive up to Lake Tahoe (6,200) / Reno (4,500 ft) area and back. |

Here are some data logs. Hopefully someone can decipher the through the bullshit and see how Im running...
I gotta admit, twas' very difficult to find a good spot to do a perfect log. Wayy too much traffic. Ill have to try again tomorrow or Sunday. Spending Easter into Monday in Reno so will probably find a nice spot in the desert to do proper rips. Also - I was totally thrown off by the error message received when trying to log. I didnt think anything was saving until I came home and connected to WiFi... they all appeared magically! http://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5cba72c7ae729b44f42741ef http://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5cba72c6ae729b44f42741ed http://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5cba72c5ae729b44f42741eb |

I’m not sure if its because I’m on mobile but I can’t see your logs. Did you paste the sharable link?
Edit: Also there should be n26 specific tunes. I think the compression is different so the target boost, timing, Afr targets are different for n26 vs n20.

I dont know if I was able to hit the sweet spot of 3rd gear, 2500 through redline but I should have at least something someone can decipher. Had DSC off as well. Sunday I will get primo logs in Reno at 4500 ft. These logs were near my house at 2,000 ft. Im honestly wondering if I get my tune dialed in at a certain elevation and then immediately go to a different elevation... if the car will now be running less than optimally. Only reason Im asking such strange questions is... I regularly go through the Sierra Nevada Mtns. |

Strangely- It auto recognized me as N20... I CERTAINLY DID NOT CHOOSE N20... It read my VIN as N20 and gave me only N20 tune options. Hmm... Car seems to run fine/well? |

Hmm I'm seeing your links but they're showing to me as null datalogs. When you share your logs, you need to use a "share link". It's different from the view log button (located below it) in that expansion menu. It seems like your link is the same pattern as a share link right now but I can't seem to see it :/

Ohhhh.... I know what happened!
Fuck me! I cleared the logs from Bootmod3. Had know idea that would also kill the link. Guess I am an idiot! Honestly pissed. |

I think you’ve posted a share link but it doesn’t seem to direct to your logs. Perhaps another member can see them. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be working for me at the moment.

Is it possible you have an n20 car and not n26? I recall you having a dp as well though and that would have been pretty obvious if you tried to install a n20 pipe on a n26 or vice versa. Support is pretty quick to respond so maybe they can shed some light on what’s going on.

Elevation will not affect the car now that it's tuned any differently than it would've when it was stock. The air will be less dense, less oxygen and less power, but the same will happen on the stock tune. Nothing to worry about there. If you entered in your VIN correctly, it's impossible for you to get the wrong maps. So trusting that you entered the right VIN, that would lead me to believe they use the same maps for N20 and N26, which would make sense because they are in effect the same engine. Regardless of that, I think the maps are the same for both anyway. Get those logs up so we can take a look

Also I find the best time for me to do logs is later in the nighttime and using an freeway on ramp. I usually drive out of the city down the peninsula and do some pulls. That way my engine and trans are nicely warmed up so I can do some 2.5k 3rd gear pulls through 4th gear.
3rd gear is usually all you need but doing 4th as well if you have the space give a lot more info to work with.

I didnt even enter VIN. Thats the point!
The OBD Agent automatically detected it when I plugged in. Thanks for calming my nerves. Was starting to wonder if I had lost it. Once again for the record... Definitely have an N26 and definitely did not enter my VIN or choose N20. |

EDIT: Orrrrrr... who did you buy the license off of, an N20 owner? I know all their info resets once the license is transferred but I guess it's something to think about...

Good stuff. In case you’re curious I confirmed with PTF the only difference between non-AGG and AGG maps were the burbles. Also the remaining map identifiers codes mean the following for OTS maps;
L-lower compression engine H-higher compression engine 9-newer type of DME P-older type of DME. |

N20 powered 320s get the H for high compression. N20 powered 328s get the L for low compression. And then depending on what model year, a 9 or a P. I can confirm that up to 2014 is a P version DME. Not sure when the 9 version DMW came out. |
