Hello,

Just jumped on a 328i 2014 sport line, but does not come with rear view camera.

I looked into it and found this one from a company called Carnavi player.

Anyone ever used it before? It seems that the project will take a good 5 hours as you gotta take the whole dashboard area and rear trunk inters out.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just placed an order for my F32 NBT 8.8" yesterday, $199 shipped. Install shouldn't be more than 3ish hours. I think the long pole will be installing the camera and running the video cable from the trunk to the head unit. Will install next weekend if it gets here on time. Can update here is anyone is interested.

This should not take 5 hours. You don't need to take the dashboard out, just the trims around the climate control and drop the glove box to gain more access. Trunk lining should not be bad if you have the proper tools.

In my opinion, the most time consuming part is to route and hide the cables.

I would say 1 hour for the infotainment, 1/2 hour for the trunk area, and 1.5 hours for the wiring.

You were right, it took me about 3 hours total, putting everything back together. Hardest part was getting the wiring from the front to the side, and back of the car.

Overall super happy with it!

Installed my last week, yeah about 3 hours, and nothing was really hard, just getting the wiring through the side of the glovebox, besides that everything was easy.

just installed this unit today. for some reason i'm only getting a black screen on my idrive monitor when i connect the 'intelligent parking assist system' mmi..not sure why. the sound works but no screen (even when in reverse).

had to remove the mmi and idrive works normally. feel like i just wasted $199

Contact the seller, they are extremely helpful and always reply.

Did you plugin all the wires correctly? Make sure the camera is connected as well if not you will see a black screen.

It worked for many of us, dont give up just yet, im sure the issue can be fixed.

Turns out according to the seller the product won't work at all with my NBT EVO head unit. Still waiting on my refund.
