I have F36 that came with base sound, I upgraded the entire speakers, I even installed tweeters enclosures for sound stage, but the sound became worst (harsh bright sound with no lows). So I had to install Bimmertech Amp to drive them all after decoding to HiFi. The result was night and day !! everything came alive. So I agree that upgrading the speakers without amp. is waste of money and time. You wanna enjoy your speakers upgrade, them you must install an amp. The only amp that I know is Bimmertech that come with harness and everything you need , it worth it, trust me.. It its actually Audiotec fischer Amp. |

I am having some problems.
So basically every car I see online, even with the base sound, have the ASD on the back of the car on the left side under the plastic where we're going to connect the amplifier. So I disassembled everything and there is nothing in there. So all I have is this.. I need help.. Last edited by fifthelement89; 08-30-2020 at 01:33 PM.. |

I got mine from bimmertech with the amp, plugged it at the back of the headunit, running all the way to the trunk then connect the amp to each speaker from there

Also, as you'll need to connect power, you'll have to remove the boot trim to guide the positive lead to the battery. For the negative, use a ground point just on top of the wheel arch next to where you place your amp. Good luck!

Friends.
I bought a ESX 4240dsp amplifier. It's basically plug and play and works very well. I am facing just one problem. The rear parking sensors volume got really low. Can't really notice them. I tried to put the volume up but it isn't working. Did thid happened to anyone? Coding to hifi will fix it? |
