No maybe the coding is just for hyper-flashing

Hi,

Did you have to use the canbus kit that came with the Phillips LEDs?

No error but it will flick when you turn on your car and every few minute while the car is running. Because the system will check that the bulbs are working or broken by sends small electric to them. Coding is for turn off that.

I do like the Weisslicht bulbs from Bimmian, Amber in the rear especially.

Coding will help take care of turning them off when not being used.
I also like the Weisslicht bulbs. work great with no errors. must code though to get rid of the bulb check flashes.

I just got the weisslicht bulbs for my F25, but the 2 LEDs under the projector lens on the front of the bulb are aligned/oriented differently on each bulb (vertical on one and horizontal on the other) and this is causing the beam pattern to look different on each side of the car. Is this a defect? Can someone check their weisslicht bulbs if the LEDs are lined up the same on each bulb? I gotta contact Bimmian..

if you want to just get rid of the egg yolk while off, look to the chrome bmw bulbs. still halogen and will not show orange when off. but they will flash orange and keep DOT happy.

im going to code mine to be off and only act as turn signals when the headlights are on.

I use Weisslicht amber LED rear turn signals; they look great. Got them from Bimmian.com

Though a little expensive, they have lifetime replacement

With Bimmercode you go to Front Electronic Module>LED Conversion>Active (for each bulb).
