LCI tail light retrofit problem f30
Hello,
I am having a issue with my LCI taillight retrofit for my f30. I have installed the lights and coded but the left inside turn signal light does not turn on at all. All other lights have been working with no flickering including the turn signal inside light on the right side. I included pictures at the bottom of the post. I purchased a wiring harness plug and play from EAS and I coded the following below-am I missing something? I would like to add that I purchased a replacement light just in case it was a hardware issue with the light itself and it still is having the same problem after installation of the new left inside (inside the trunk lid) taillight. REM_01 > LceLampMapping1 3062 > MAPPING_BLINKER_H_L_FIXED_PWM = fixed REM_01 > LceLampMapping1 3062 > MAPPING_BLINKER_H_L_PWM_LEVEL_1 = 13.7V [Default] REM_01 > LceLampMapping1 3062 > MAPPING_BLINKER_H_R_FIXED_PWM = fixed REM_01 > LceLampMapping1 3062 > MAPPING_BLINKER_H_R_PWM_LEVEL_1 = 13.7V [Default] REM_01 > LceLampMapping1 3062 > MAPPING_BRAKEFORCED_L_FIXED_PWM = fixed REM_01 > LceLampMapping1 3062 > MAPPING_BRAKEFORCED_L_PWM_LEVEL_1 = 100% [Default] REM_01 > LceLampMapping1 3062 > MAPPING_BRAKEFORCED_R_FIXED_PWM = fixed REM_01 > LceLampMapping1 3062 > MAPPING_BRAKEFORCED_R_PWM_LEVEL_1 = 100% [Default] REM_01 > LceLampMapping1 3062 > MAPPING_BREMSL_L_FIXED_PWM = fixed REM_01 > LceLampMapping1 3062 > MAPPING_BREMSL_L_PWM_LEVEL_1 = 13.5V [Default] REM_01 > LceLampMapping1 3062 > MAPPING_BREMSL_R_FIXED_PWM = fixed REM_01 > LceLampMapping1 3062 > MAPPING_BREMSL_R_PWM_LEVEL_1 = 13.5V [Default] REM_01 > LceLampMapping2 3063 > MAPPING_NEBELSCHLUSSL_L_FIXED_PWM = fixed REM_01 > LceLampMapping2 3063 > MAPPING_NEBELSCHLUSSL_L_PWM_LEVEL_1 = 13.5V [Default] REM_01 > LceLampMapping2 3063 > MAPPING_NEBELSCHLUSSL_R_FIXED_PWM = fixed REM_01 > LceLampMapping2 3063 > MAPPING_NEBELSCHLUSSL_R_PWM_LEVEL_1 = 13.5V [Default] REM_01 > LceLampMapping2 3063 > MAPPING_RUECKFAHRL_L_PWM_LEVEL_1 = 13.7V [Default] REM_01 > LceLampMapping2 3063 > MAPPING_RUECKFAHRL_R_PWM_LEVEL_1 = 13.7V [Default] REM_01 > LceLampMapping2 3063 > MAPPING_UNIVERSAL_6_OUTPUT = sl_2_l REM_01 > LceLampMapping2 3063 > MAPPING_UNIVERSAL_7_OUTPUT = sl_2_r REM_01 > LceLampMapping2 3063 > MAPPING_UNIVERSAL_8_OUTPUT = bfd_l REM_01 > LceLampMapping2 3063 > MAPPING_UNIVERSAL_9_OUTPUT = bfd_r REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > BFD_L_CCM = ccm_blinker_l REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > BFD_L_IS_LED = aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > BFD_L_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ = dimmed REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > BFD_R_CCM = ccm_blinker_r REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > BFD_R_IS_LED = aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > BFD_R_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ = dimmed REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > BL_L_IS_LED = aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > BL_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht_aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > BL_L_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ = nicht_aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > BL_R_IS_LED = aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > BL_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht_aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > BL_R_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ = nicht_aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > FRA_H_L_IS_LED = aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > FRA_H_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht_aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > FRA_H_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG = aktiv [Default] REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > FRA_H_R_IS_LED = aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > FRA_H_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht_aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > FRA_H_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG = aktiv [Default] REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > NSL_L_IS_LED = aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > NSL_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht_aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > NSL_L_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ = aktiv [Default] REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > NSL_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG = nicht_aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > NSL_R_CCM = NEW_ccm_nsl_r REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > NSL_R_IS_LED = aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > NSL_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht_aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > NSL_R_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ = aktiv [Default] REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > NSL_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG = nicht_aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > RFS_L_CCM = NEW_ccm_rfs_l REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > SL_2_L_CCM = Fxx_ccm_sl_2_l REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > SL_2_L_IS_LED = aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > SL_2_R_CCM = Fxx_ccm_sl_2_r REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > SL_2_R_IS_LED = aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > SL_L_IS_LED = aktiv REM_01 > LceOutputChannels 3061 > SL_R_IS_LED = aktiv [IMG]IMG_0598 by jtskariah, on Flickr[/IMG] [IMG]IMG_0575 by jtskariah, on Flickr[/IMG] |

When you connected to the REM, did you use pin 5 and 13? I know some of the DIY incorrectly say to use pin 17.

Not sure what you mean by pin. We used E-sys for the first time and coded everything using this tutorial: https://bmwspot.com/coding/f-series/...tting-started/ Everything we coded is in the post above and everything works perfectly except the left inner taillight. I do not recall seeing anything about pin unless I overlooked something |

Sorry. I just saw you used the EAS harness. The pins I am talking about are for the BMW harness. That harness plugs directly into the REM for power. The harness you have gets its power from the outer flashers. All of the coding is correct and should work. I would check the positap on the blue wire in the new harness that runs to the left outer flasher. It seems like you are just not getting power from it. Maybe loose connection at the tap.

Not yet.. so it must be a issue with the wiring harness at this point and not the coding?

I will give them a call and see what they say. I wanted to see if I had a problem with the coding before I did anything else.

Well contacting EAS did not help much, they told me to check the wiring and follow the tutorials again.. I have a appointment scheduled with my installer on Wednesday so I will try to follow buysk's advice. Hopefully it is just a loose connection because if it isn't I am not sure what else to do
