OEM LED adaptive icon headlight questions

I was thinking about upgrading my headlights to the OEM led icon versions . I have a 430i gran coupe 2019 , I have the led halos those are pretty nice forsure but the icon version make car look more aggressive and in my opinion they just look better overall.

This is my first time doin this type of upgrade . I just need help with basically everything I need to know about doin this upgrade . Also I’m aware that coding is required .

I'm sure someone will help but the reason why this mod isn't common and done by everyone is purely how expensive it and complicated it is.

The parts are the expensive part. The modules/coding is the complex part - although there are people on this forum who can remotely privode that service to you.

Indeed, what Yam_440i said. The headlights for a good used set are about $3k on eBay. There's a gentleman on the F80 forum named Marius that can do the coding for you. You also need a new harness if your current headlights aren't adaptive that he can provide as well. I'm not sure how much he charges but this will help you get the job done. From what I've heard he does really good work. I don't know him personally so maybe someone can chime in and get you in contact with him if this is something you're looking to do.

Marius is an absolute saint - http://instagram.com/marius76_bmw/

He's helped me out with both the retrofit coding (plus a harness) and most recently updating both my modules to the latest firmware as I needed to replace one. His time and effort is worth every $ that's all I can say, he's always had patience to put with my mods which kept getting delayed lol
