Hello everyone!

I joined not long ago and have posted in a few threads, but haven't had an opportunity to make a proper introduction.

I started my BMW ownership back in January '99 when I bought a E46 323i with a manual, sport package and sunroof as the only options. I owned the car for almost 8 years and put nearly 130K miles on it. I spent three of those years living in the UK, so the car saw plenty of time on British B-roads as well as autobahn on the European continent. That ownership experience ended in 2006 when I sold the car ahead of another overseas move.

I returned to the world of BMW ownership with a 435 I picked up a couple weeks ago. It was shocking how this car was configured EXACTLY like I wanted. Here are the specifics: 6MT, M Sport, Track Handling Package, MPPK, Tech Package, Cold Weather Package, Adaptive Headlights, black leather.

I look forward to contributing here and sharing my ownership experience. The first adventure will be SCCA autocross novice school in two weeks. I"ve done a couple events in my now-departed Mk6 GTI, but I'll have to completely re-calibrate myself for a VERY different car.
