FS F8x M DCT Paddle Shifters 100% Plug and Play! F3x
I have a set of M DCT paddle shifters Fits all Automatic F series cars!! (that is if you have paddle shifters already) Anything from 320i 435i 340i doesn't matter the engine or steering wheel, all f series message me if you still aren't sure Install takes less then 10 mins you don't have to remove steering wheel. Once installed they feel way better in your hand then the plasticky non M paddles makes a huge difference and one of the easiest mods to do, I make DIY videos and will put together one for this install for anyone interested How to install Last edited by Anderw; 12-07-2017 at 11:05 PM.. |

Its very simple I haven't seen a video on the process specifically
There are only a few steps 1 Disconnect the battery 2 Use a flat head screw driver to remove the air bag (you don't have to fully remove just need to get to the Torx screw that hold the paddle shifter just support the airbag from hanging or completely remove 2 extra connectors) 3 Unscrew the Torx screws (one on each shifter) and disconnect the shifter connector 4 Reinstall the new shifters, push the airbag back in and reconnect the battery 5 You're done! honestly its really easy |

Is it necessary to unplug the battery? If you do, is there any coding required to do afterward or do you start up and drive? Will you lose any coding or mppk software installed??
I don?t think you will, but I?m just making sure. |

As far as your MPPK or coding you have done it is totally safe to disconnect the battery and retain everything I have tons of coding done to my car and have disconnected the battery many times its not an issue , you won't lose anything, nothing to worry about |

No, and the risk of your airbag blowing up in your face is way overblown here.
That said, creating a circuit connection between the backside of the airbag and the steering wheel (with whatever metal tool you're inserting to push the airbag release springs) will make the horn sound (hence why you push the airbag in to activate the horn...). |

Ah, ok. Just saw you mentioning the 320i and those will deffo not fit directly PnP, but also, it didn't come factory with paddles anyways so this set wouldn't apply to me personally. Thanks plus free bizzump for ya regardless, lol.
