Well... if you like Snapper Rocks Blue then you're in luck!

Check that £60k one out though, fully loaded and full M Performance kit on it.

Garage List
My local dealer still has a pre-reg 440i M Sport. SMB with full c/f M Perf kit + 704Ms. £49K and they had it at 1.9%. Must say it looks the dogs danglies for a 440i.

"HI Guys, In reply to all of the requests about stock 440 offers on the 0% deal...*
I am not offering these deals for several reasons - and I will apologise in advance.
But here are the reasons;

1) we don't have any 440 left in our stock. Which means I would have to search for one and swap it in. That's great except no other dealers
want to give up their prime stock while this offer is running. They want to keep their cars for their customers. Plus we don't have one to offer back.
Even if we located a car, by the time we complete the paperwork and take your deposit the owning dealer has either sold the car or swapped it out
to another dealer for one of his cars... hence you hear many customers have placed their deposit only to then be told "sorry the car has now sold".
2) Most of these cars have been in the network for a while... many have been sat in showrooms being polished to death with a contaminated cloth.
I hate selling anything other than a brand new car from the factory - for these very reasons.
3) Because these cars have been at other showrooms they may have been used for test drives or had families jumping all over them. Nice.

So there you go guys. I need to protect my reputation - I don't want to take a deposit then let someone down. Nor sell a car that's not 100% perfect"

Makes sense on his part. I wonder if anymore are actually coming fresh off a boat before the December 31st deadline? I've nothing against a pre existing stock car, my only concern would be if it has to go back to the dealer you bought it from and its miles away but did the best deal? Or can you take it to your local one if the PDI didn't show up paint or wear and tear issues?
I bought my AUC unseen - had it delivered by the dealer driver a few hundred miles away and then found a few bits - took it to my local dealer, who called the supplying dealer got approval to re bill and the work was done locally.

So I wouldn't worry about having to go back to the supplying dealer too much...

Brilliant thanks. I'm just wary of the local dealer as I drove their demo car but they were so uncompetitive I walked away.

meh sales department are too high and mighty to worry about seeing you with another car in the service department

At the end of the day they get money doing the work for you - if they didn't have the deal for you they didn't have the deal for you. Don't sweat it...

Yeah they REALLY didn't have the deal. I even rang yesterday to enquire on a car they had and they were no better.

Those pre-reg cars are more expensive than a new car it seems

New cars were around £11-12k off list and 0%

Yeah, I assume the BMW deposit contribution is already built into those discounts? Will ask

They are 2 separate things

A new car will be supported by a nationwide BMW UK campaign (deposit contribution and finance offer). The dealer can then further support this with his own margin on the car.

A pre-reg will have different discounts applied in a different manner. The dealer can then ask what he likes for these cars and attempt to turn a profit on them. You may well get a "deposit contribution", which is in essence a discount from the remaining margin, but it won't be anywhere near the £10k+ available against new, and most likely tied to taking PCP finance at double digit APR

I think it's presumptuous for him to suggest that the cars purchased through this scheme have been poorly looked after or have been dealership dummy cars. Sounds to me like he's just disappointed that he can't offer any cars. That said, I'll be taking a proper look around mine, just in case
