Convince me to debadge

So I think my ZHP will look a lot cleaner with the 340i emblem removed, but since it is 1 of only 100 made, should I keep it on or not?

Thoughts?

Well, it's YOUR car...if you like the debadged look go for it. (I debadge all the Bimmers I've owned, looks cleaner!)

Once the emblem is removed you can't go back to the factory look/placement of the 340i. Perhaps an alternative is to plastic-dip your 340i emblem to match the color of your exterior vehicle.

I've thought of debadging my 335i but I can't seem to ever go through with it.

Sort of like keeping it original, IMO.
But it does look dope.

Welp now I'm about to debadge hahaha

I want your car when you get ready to sell it (I'm not kidding). Did you lease or buy? Please don't debadge.

Thanks but you may be waiting awhile!

I think I will leave it on. Yes I leased it, but I may or may not buy it at the end of 3 years. I drive under 10K a year.

Replace the "4" with a "2", so everyone thinks you have a 320i. Then when you blow their doors off they will be like, "ddaaayyyyuuuuumm".

De-badge. The car has 4 doors, it's not a classic.

Sure you can. Body shops do this all the time. Just take a picture, or if you want perfect placement, take measurements before debadging.

De-badge it and save the letters intact on a clear tape. I've seen a wrap shop doing that. In that case u can always put it back the same way. You may get it done from a professional

Badge missing will have 0 effect on the value or demand of your car on resale.

I say debadge and rebadge with something completely different new and unique. That way people won’t know the car make and be intrigued.

Good idea.

Put a "TRANS AM" window sticker across your windshield.

Or, if you really want to mess with people, just "TRANS". lol

Well considering my personalized license plate is going to say "F30ZHP" maybe I should debadge it. I wonder if I'll ever make up my mind?

I didn't have a choice. When I picked up a CPO 340i, it was already debadged. I didn't like at first, but after getting the MPPSK, it's kind of nice having people guessing what it is. I've gotten used to the clean look in the back too, so I'm not going to put anything back there now. It's your car, so to each his own. Good luck with your choice.

Buy a spare trunk lid and leave debadged...then swap them out at will...
