Steering Wheel Squeak please help!

So my f30, has developed a squeak in the steering wheel when turning. Funny enough , if I adjust the steering wheel the squeak either isn't as bad or is worse. I suspect to believe it's the steering column boot needing lubrication. If anyone can guide me in the right direction for this I would gladly appreciate that, thank you.

I noticed my clock spring makes noise when my car has been sitting in the sun for a long period, goes away after driving a minute, could be a similar issue.
