They all go to auction.

Cars that are well looked after end up as BMW approved used cars.

Not unless you've kerbed the wheels or have some dents!

Garage List
The decent ones, no more than 3 years old will sometimes be offered to dealers first and then, if no takers, to the auction house.

Given that the GFV is based upon the base price without options, a highly optioned car will have had all the option costs paid for it and have the same price as a standard model. Therefore the dealer might be interested in a highly optioned car for the same price as a standard car and would get more money selling to a punter who is taken with all the fancy kit.

Or so I imagine.

Some extras do add to the GFV. Not all, and often not much, but there are some.

Keep the GPS turned on, you never know you might be able to follow it until the next person changes it over, if they ever do !

You used to be able to browse returned cars on www.bca.com (you have to register).

Hard to buy at BCA as a private buyer anyway, fees are high, and some of the auctions for the better BMW cars are closed and dealer only.

If you buy at BCA through FlippingCars.co.uk the fees will be around half what you'd pay as a private buyer.
