New 330i owner with a few questions.
Just got a 2017 330i with the M Sport package last Friday. I am absolutely in love with it. There are two issues I am trying to fix:
- Rear passenger window will not go up automatically. If goes all the way down with a single press. I have to hold the button to go all the way up. Every other window works fine. Also, when I hold the unlock button, all windows except that one will go down. I have tried both the driver control and the button on the rear door. - Cannot program garage door opener. I need to look at my opener and see if I have rolling codes. It's pretty old though, so I'm not sure what is going on. I was able to get it to program based on the manual, but it would not open my garage. - Finally, does sport mode affect gas mileage? I prefer the feel of the car in sport mode over comfort, but I do need to get decent mileage on my day to day drive. |

Is your car sill under warranty?
About the gas mileage in Sport mode ... the fuel efficiency will drop by a marginal amount overshadowed by the fun factor. |

Plus 1 for being still under warranty. I'd take it to a dealer. Being a 2017 it SHOULD still be under warranty.

I was finally able to program the garage door opener. Now just need the window fixed.
Yes, the car is still under warranty. I guess I need to make an appointment with my local dealer... |

In regard to sport mode, you can refine settings. I actually just did this in the iDrive. If you like the car to have the firmer steering and suspension feel, but do not need the extra 'oomph'you can set it so that the transmission does not go into sport mode. Only the chassis and steering. This way, the car feels firmer but the transmission and mpgs will be like comfort. Should you wish to have the transmission go into sport mode while in this setting, simply click the shifter over to the left like manual mode but don't touch it. This is not my only car so I am not really concerned about mpgs. I like this setting as often times the sport mode transmission setting is not ideal for simply cruising around, but the other aspects are.
