I've tried something with a plugin now. If you go to our website you see on the right under the Twitter and Facebook buttons 3 flags. Hope this helps for you guys!

The headings come up in English, but the wording of the article is in Dutch still.

Strange! It worked with me. And if you open just one article?

Doesn't matter which article I open (it does go to test auto.nl site), all are in Dutch. I'm using my iPad though, will try on Mac Safari later.

Ah, you're clicking the wrong button. I think the language flags aren't in your cache yet. But it should be under the twitter button and above the text "ga naar", 3 flags (Dutch, English and German).

Ah - works fine on iPad Chrome but don't see the flags on iPad Safari - the page layout differs in both browsers, so I guess Wordpress is optimising the site for the iPad Safari browser and not showing the flags.

Maybe the change needs doing to the mobile version of the site?

EDITED: Works in iPad Safari now.

Cool, thanks for posting that!
It sounds amazing. I just don't like the look of Alpinas.

It is a personal thing I suppose.

The Alpina D3 is a very good car I am sure, but I cannot abide with the cheapy looking front air dam, the silly rear boot spoiler, the non M Sport steering wheel, those million spoke chariot wheels but most of all those vulgar protruding afterthought exhausts which look so incongruous. Therefore, I for one would prefer an sDrive 330d or 335i in M Sport style.

And, if you wish for similar acceleration, the jacked up 335d M Sport would be a better bet IMO.

And to top it all, you'll save some good money with any of the above over the Alpina D3.

I like the looks of a M Sport better than the Alpina too. But the Alpina is way more exclusive, which is great. Here in The Netherlands you see a 320d lease on every corner.
The D3 isn't much more expensive than a 335d xDrive. The D3 has more options standard than a 335d. And your warranty will be gone when you tune it, I guess. Both great cars I think!

Oh, and the Sunday Times says it's got an 8 speed manual in the Specification Table! The reviewer should be shot for allowing such a mistake!

Agreed on the appearance of Alpinas with the 80s looking stickers and nightmare-to-clean alloys etc etc....
Would love the mechanics, but do not like the appearance.

However you need to go back to Germany to get it serviced

No, I only said that it's more exclusive, which I can appreciate.

Not true, there are Alpina service centers across Europe, including UK. Just not in the Netherlands.

That was a reference to the review - the guy said he couldn't buy one as it meant having to go back to Germany for service, presumably it was the nearest

I'm not a fan of the wheels, or the ostentatious badging.....but without the styling stripes down the side, it looks OK. Love that hunkered look.

I'm not a fan of the decals or the front spoiler, but I love the wheels! Especially the more modern take on the classic multi-spoke ones.

I wouldn't want to swap my M Sport steering wheel for the Alpina one but the rest I could live with

The price comparison with the 335d MS is a little flattering given the discounts available for the MS over those likely to be available on the Alpina.
