i have debadged the back of the 435d, but left the 'm' badge on the wings.
i think it looks cleaner/classier, and its only my business what car it is !

I'll debadge if I get it lowered. It's currently completely standard and having it debadged now would be at odds with this.

Fully debadged side and back. Think it looks cleaner although the two separate pipes give the game away if you know your beemers 😬

Leave all badges on. IMO gives the car a bad image with them off.
If you go out a buy a 335 why the hell would you want to take the badge off?

And I know I am in the minority here, but I really like xdrive as my E92 335 suffered from lack of traction. So I even kept the xdrive badge on mine. Give it a nice polish once a week.

I always debadge my cars. Any engine size or MPerformance badge is just a bit of willy waving. The only person that gets any use or enjoyment out of the fact it's a 40d or 40i with MPPSK rather than a 320 is me, so I don't need it to display it to others. If you're going as far as Xdrive badges, I might as well have one that says Active Drive, HUD etc etc as they all make my driving experience more enjoyable.

N.B. This wouldn't apply to a full M car.

I can see your point of view and I respect it.
But why not to an M car? Everything you said would apply to it.

Yes it's only a personal opinion and people are free to do whatever they like to their cars. I think the M cars are different as they don't look like the generic version they're based on so you can immediately tell it's not a standard 2,3,5 series so the badge isn't stating anything that isn't already obvious.
