New Country BMW Hartford - Mod Friendly?

Wondering if anyone has had experience with the SA's over at New Country? I have been to their dealership quite a few times during my hunt for a car, and they were a great group of guys to deal with.

Now that I have my car (actually bought at a MA BMW dealership), and looking into some possible mods (FMIC, CP, DP), I wanted to make sure that I dont go off and start blacklisting myself and losing my CPO right off the bat.

Just seeing this post now. I went to New Country for the first time last week. Overall was satisfied with the service, although just went in for 35k free service. I am also planning mods early this summer. AA flash, DP, FMIC, CP. Have you started with your mods and had experience with their feelings about it at New Country.

Lol, the 328i I bought was originally purchased from there. The PO said they are good guys there.

I haven't had to go in for anything yet, but I did talk to one of the dealers there when I was originally looking to buy and he had mentioned that as long as you dont come in for warranty work on something that failed because of an aftermarket part (obviously) you are good.

I used them for my 11 335 with CP and fmic, plus Cobb APV3. They didn't mind the cp or fmic, but I did flash back to oem maps for dealer visits.

I currently use them for my f30 335 which is CPO, and they are good. I also purchased my X1 from there and they beat the best prices I got anywhere. Good people, just make sure they don't wash your car, my BSM came back swirled hard as fuck before I learned my lesson there last year.

Just dropped it off at New Country BMW for last free service at 48,300 miles. SA is John, really cool guy and fully understanding of mods. I told them CEL was for catless DP and he didn't care. I did remove the wheel spacers because I was complaining about a slight hum in front right when driving over 90mph and turning left - no noise turning right. It could be the RFT but I switched them around and the sound is still only front right and turning left only. Car drives perfectly straight so alignment is good. Anyway he said since I'm at my last free service he was going to also do plugs and brake fluid flush on top of the other consumables. So far they seem really good and fair with mods. My next service will be with BM3 installed. We'll see if they notice and say anything.

OK so here's how pickup went. Full free service (unfortunately will be my last). Replaced plugs with NGK SILZBR8D8S, microfilter, wiper blades and oil of course. Flushed and replaced brake fluid, the car did not call for it but since this was my last free, SA John said he was going to have it done. I'll pull the plugs and re-gap to .020.

Here's the good news. The techs think the noise I'm hearing at high speed is the GFB DV+ diverter valve. I'm not so sure about that but its so minor I'm not too worried at this point since i'm under warranty until 75k. But he said they wrote up the cause to the catless downpipe exhaust. He said an aftermarket exhaust will not void any warranty, but if they mentioned the diverter valve it could void future warranty work. So they are very mod friendly. He said they had a few M3 guys working there that do mods so they understand and as long as the mod doesn't cause the failure they are ok with them. I'd venture to guess if we have a failure and pull the mod before bringing it in they would "forget" we had the mod and do the work under warranty as long as the mod never has to get written into a diagnosis. Oh yeah their wheel guy took care of some minor curb rash for $115 after tax, it looks brand new.
