looks sweet - is that option 2NH, because the rears don't look fixed to me?

Lovely machine. Btw, if anyone is concerned about the ride quality with the 403M wheels and DHP, don't be (can't speak to standard MSport Susp).

The power is there (335). Break in recommends staying below 4500rpm. There is some much torque that I never felt the to go past, at all.

The absolute masterpiece beside the N55 is the ZF 8 speed. You have to experience it to understand. Super smooth shifts and super fast in manual mode. I'm truly in awe.

The tech is superb as well.

Still taking it all in.

Congrats!

As long as the CO comes the day of/right after delivery, you can probably take it within 24 hours of it hitting the dealer's lot.

That is some great news right there! I had read this was on the 2014 X3, and some speculated this would spread across the line. Now we have our answer.

I HATE auto start/stop and had to take my 2012 335i in for the recode.

Thanks for the vid Evenkeel.

Do you happen to have an iPhone to test the Siri eyes free with the steering wheel button? 2014 is supposed to activate Siri with a long press of the phone button on the wheel.

I wouldn't mind ASS as much if it didn't shudder so much at re-start per my test drive... any chance that either of the new owners had a chance to test it out with the 14's?

Thanks for making the video! The nav looks to be much faster then the previous one found in the 2013.

Ok, so I just confirmed that Siri Eyes Free indeed does work by pressing and holding the voice activation button on the steering wheel.

When prompted, I said "Play Learning to Fly" and it started playing the Pink Floyd song.

I couldn't take a video because my video source is my iPhone (and you cant use Siri and take a video at the same time) so I just took a screen shot of the Nav.

Very nice (and fast!).

What happens if you try to pinch/zoom or "touch scroll" while sitting on a nav map but not going into interactive map first?

Nothing happens. You can turn the wheel to zoom in and out, but the touch pad has no impact.

Disappointing. Would be nice if it tossed you into interactive mode if you tried to scroll.

Oh well, there's always the preset buttons.

He thought mine may have been sent to the wrong destination or something. That was a rough hour or two while he tracked my car down. My mind was blown by the fact that two people ordered almost exactly the same car at the same time and both went to the same dealership.

335 msport, mineral gray, msport brakes, and 403 wheels -- looks identical. Drives great.

Hilarious! My CA, Adrian, told me what happened. Your CA approached him and told him that my car was actually yours! This freaked my CA out. Later, it was determined that it was indeed my vehicle. Small world indeed.

Guys, here is how the launch control works (from the manual). I have no intention of trying it out anytime soon, but, thought I'd share.

Thanks a ton for taking the time to put these up! Very cool to see.. I'm excited for the Siri Eyes Free stuff, that should be very useful. "Siri play Enter Sandman". Done.

No you have to have the dealer code it to remember last setting. Mine was Early June production and had it coded right away before I bought it. Only the '14's are set from the factory to remember last setting
