Hey all. Just trying to round up people in the same boat as me. I got notification my F30 started production on Friday.

Who else has an F30 in the production phase? And what did ya order?

Production lasted 8 days... Alpine white 335

It's the 2nd time I had to order the car since the dealer messed up my orig order... If it follows the same timeline on my 1st order, should be in my driveway 10/1

Yikes. What was wrong with the original order?

My e92 is alpine white and I love it ... Great choice. What color interior?

My F30 is in status 193 (Arrival at Port/Compound). I ordered the vehicle August 2nd and didn't start production until August 8th. Entered the body shop/serial # assign on August 20th, paint shop the next day, and assembly was completed the 22nd. I will be taking Delivery at the Performance Center in South Carolina on Oct. 17th/18th. I cannot wait.

The waiting is the hardest thing for sure.

No, this is my first one! I had Oyster and loved the concept of a black bottom, but not the seats (I'm in AZ). Then I saw red and wanted to try, my wife was in a bit of shock, but went ahead with it.

AW was my second choice, I love it too!

Im tracking via the dealerspeed.net. It's always got the most recent information. I heard that the BMWUSA website is delayed by a day or two. Dealerspeed will tell you the exact time down to the second of the day your car entered production and so on.

You may need to contact your dealer for updates. I, fortunately, work at our dealership so I got access to it.

Where is your car being built? Dealer placed ordered my car on 8/14 and advised by dealer 3 days ago that all remaining 2014 335i xDrive models is being built in South Africa. Mine is still in status 112 - scheduled for daily production pack as of 8/27.

My car is being built in Germany. Production began on Monday. My CA waited for a German build as they are about 30 days quicker in Germany (or so I was told by my CA)
