F30 Cluster White LED retrofit
Hi there! Recently I found out that I can replace the stock orange LED's from cluster to white LED. I have replaced 3 of 12 leds and they don't work (one clock doesn't work). What may have I done wrong?

Put them in wrong way round?
Also why? It already has both orange and white LEDs, mines white by day and orange at night.

F30 clusters do not have backlit LEDs in white.

Just did this mod, the white LEDs are quite bright so I have turned down the brightness in the instrument cluster. I've missed 2 LEDs and my oil temp needle is a little bit off now, so will fix that this week. Overall very happy with this simple mod, cluster looks cleaner with the white LEDs.

Hello, i have the basic cluster in my f30 and i did the white led swap… the problem is that the left side (speed) is not as bright as the right (rpm)… i did the swap twice because i used other kind of led to try and fix the problem… has anyone had the same issue and how did you fix it?

Switching to white LEDs is complemented well with the Venoxy replacement gauge faces. The F3x 6WA gauge faces are kinda ugly imo lol.

Polarity on the led is prolly wrong, I would see how it was stock and then flip the replacement to that same polarity

I put a small resistor for one of the left LED so there are basically 3 and not 4 LEDs now. It has still a small difference but its a lot more similar than before. Thats what i can recommend. If someone has a better fix please write
