F3x M-Sport Steering Wheel Convert to Have the F8x Trim with the slit in the middle

I want to convert my F32 M-Sport steering wheel to use the v shape trim below. I only bought the front piece.

Does it work if I replace the back trim piece (note that I drive manual)? https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...e/32307848269/

I am asking because it looks like there is foam where it will block the v slit. See attached picture.

My current M-Sport steering wheel is this:

Second photo looks like it has lane departure warning system?

I have an M Sport wheel and it doesn’t have that foams area.

it'll work fine, i had the f80 trim and paddles on my f30 wheel
