Confort Access Installing/Coding Problem.

Hi Everyone,

I recently bought comfort access kit for my 2013 F32, from a local seller. We did all the wiring etc. but could not make it work. The guy who did the wiring said that the module is for LCI version and my car is Pre-LCI.

I talked with the seller and he said that it should work since all LCI and Pre-LCI modules are the same. Somehow we could not make it work.

I put the image of the kit I bought down below. If anyone can help it would be great.

I've quickly looked at RealOEM.com for pre-LCI set-up and can see right away that there should be at least 6 antennas in the kit (OEM): 3 min (or 4) interior for Convenience Package (CP) and 3 outside antennas additional for Comfort Access (CA). On your image I can see, what appears as OEM antenna, only one - the black slim stick with a black/white pigtail. Where are the rest of them? By the way, antennas are the same for pre-LCI and LCI F32 cars.

Have you coded the CA function into FEM?

Also, read this thread for CA in F30, which should be the same thing for F32. May be something useful will be there:

Bimmertech sells CA retrofit kit and have a very good video covering the install. Check it out for some pointers:

No we did not made any coding to FAM as we thought the product is plug and play and all we had to do was just code the car key.

Thanks again
