It does not work by VIN nor by Date, and your Head Unit does not even have a 1B File.

Ok thats the answer with the 1b file. When the head unit has no 1b file I can try it 1 million times. lol.
I think that the PM function does work in a few minutes. Maybe I have the the solution of the riddle and a new road map on my X3. lol

WAY Map FSC Code cannot be generated. Only option for WAY Map is OEM FSC Code issued by BMW AG.

Correct. ID5 FSC Code is not a 20 Digit Code, its an actual Digitally Signed file.

when i put 17 digits VIN number, no date choice possible (the cell is in grey)
when i put 7 last digits of VIN number, no date choice possible (i can click on the arrow in the cell but i can't put any date)

Also here it does not work. It seems that only by fsc file it definetly works! Shuld be easy with esys.

I got a 3 series GT 2014. I think it's an NBT, Next map Europe. And i'd like to update, i am not totally sure about where to turn, can I geot the FCS in some way? What should I do?

So what to do when your ENTRYNAV Head Unit (ROUTE Map) does not have a 1B file? I tried to install Europe west 2021-1, and now it's stuck in asking code, but if it does not work with FSC Generator..? What to do? As someone said before, cancelling the installation does not cancel inserting FSC code before so you can even use your old map which is already installed...

Any help is welcome ��

2021-1 is outdated. Latest map is Europe ROUTE 2022-1.

You need original or new FSC Code. What is your short VIN (last 7)?

There was problems at downloading from BMW Software Update page, so I tried alternative route from one post of free maps 2021-1. Thought it would be enough. My latest are 2016-2.

Your original FSC Code is RUZ7KLU7NTXKGAFUABGQ, which should activate the currently installed map. For Europe ROUTE 2021-1 or 2022-1, you need new FSC Code.
