Flased my 220i B48 Stage 1, 93 Octance yesterday and i am very happy with the new power feels like a new car. Also speed limit on the germany Autobahn 250km/h was good to reach. Till 200 its realy good going over 200 is a bit sluggish. The car feels very very smoth with the tune.

also very happy with the burbles for sure hahah ...

Got my license, downloaded OBD agent and flashed to Stg1 - 93 Octane for my 230i.

Power is amazing and super smooth. Burble is weird with my exhaust combo but will see might need some adjustment.

Coming from a JB4 I am quite please to finally have a reliable flash tune available.
Congrats. Do you have any dragy/racelogic data to share?
Do not have any yet but planning on doing some dragy run soon

I'm planning on going from JB+ straight to Stage 2 91 octane on my 430i. Think I will feel a significant boost in power?

Not sure if significant since the power delivery is lot different than JB+.

I came from a JB4 to the BM3 since I've always took flash tune over piggyback when possible.

The jump in power to me was not the biggest thing since I feel the JB4 was pulling harder up top (Dragy runs needs to confirm or deny this).

Overall it's been a lot smoother than a piggyback and mid power is great.

Coming from a JB+ i'm sure you will notice some power increase as well as overall better smoothness.

Was running map 2 (+4 psi) daily with my car and Map 3 (+6psi) at the dragstrip with some octane booster.

Has anyone done a stock 330i yet?

I have 2017 F31 which is 248bhp / 258 ft/lb running on UK 95RON, with stage 1 should go up to 282bhp / 325 ft/lb. Whilst the increase in bhp looks not bad, the increase in torque looks better. Just wondering what this will feel like on the road?

Ian.

torque is what you really feel, it's what's gets your wheels moving.

I have Stage 1 (98 RON) 330iX F31. From beeing a "boring" wagon to a fun wagon! You can really feel the torque increase and I dont need to use full throttle as much as i did before . You wont regret doing it!

Agree, TQ pushes you back in your seat when you go wide open throttle. Horsepower keeps you there throughout the run

What impact are you guys seeing on fuel consumption?

Damn, I'm itching to flash, but still have 9 months warranty left.

No change during regular driving. If you floor it you will naturally use a bit more since you both have more power (which necessarily means using more fuel), and the car also runs richer than stock.

With regards to your warranty: If you feel there's a real risk your car will fall apart if you tune it, you probably shouldn't do it. You probably don't want that to happen after you're out of warranty either?

Yes good point!

For stage 1 95RON do I need to upgrade the charge pipe?

No, the B48 doesn't have the same problems with cahrge pipe that the N20 had, so no need to upgrade charge pipe.

Can someone help me understand how 330i stage 1 to 2 95RON is only 2% better (5bhp)? Would have thought that downpipe would have made more than that?

I am getting only 260whp 400nm on 330i stage 2 93octane, the torque dive is apparent after 5k , causing the HP similar to stock

Have u dyno?

I haven't flashed yet, going to start with stage 1. But I was thinking of upgrading to stage 2 in time, but seems like a lot of money for not a lot of gain?

I'm currently running stage 1 and about to get an ER DP for stage 2. But my apprehension as well, is it worth the 2% extra?

I would have thought that the DP with stage 2 would yield more.

On a side note: the stage 1 is definitely worth it so far, transform the car from being boring to dynamic.

Not yet. Only butt dyno speaking for now.

I'll try to get one done this weekend if I manage to find the time.

Just flashed stage 1 on my 420i GC, what a difference!

I seem to be able to max out the sports displays though, so not sure how accurate they are.
