can someone tell me what lights I have (pic)

I think these are projector lamps but not sure if they're led or halogen. One way or the other theyre not great so am keen to understand the upgrade options but what bulb technology are they to start with?

you have HID bulbs in there, they’re not the same as halogen and LED. they’re xenon bulbs, size D1S

you can read this thread but Osram is a popular brand people upgrade their oem bulbs with.

I'm interested in a comparison between led options that fit to the xenons. Two years hence I imagine the led's could out perform the xenons and the price seems much the same.
