I got the Melbourne Red and it's actually lighter than I though and seems to be really easy to keep clean or at least appear clean. After driving 2 rains it still looks very clean.

Mineral Grey has a dominant lead, with Sapphire Black and Alpine White tied for second.
Coincidentally, these were the 3 colours I was deciding between. I originally favoured AW having seen it on a M3 and thought it looked awesome, but I thought it looked a little plain on the F30 even in the Sportline trim. I loved the SB but I wasn't sure I was up to the constant upkeep of it. So Mineral Grey for me

Maybe the reason BMW pulled crimson was because Melbourne is very close in shade? But then, why have to blacks, one flat one metallic? Crimson is non metallic and Melbourne is. |

I wanted the red, but I preferred to drive this machine hard without the police noticing . Mineral grey baby!

It looks bright red when it is darker/cloudy and it looks almost orange in bright sunlight. I think it just looks richer than crimson.

Liquid Blue (or Bluewater it was) looked awesome on my E90 but don't think it suits the F30 as much unless it's the ActiveHybrid 3. Glacier Silver for me but I am a fan of Mineral Grey, Melbourne Red and Imperial Blue Xirallic, although that is a biatch to keep clean so I strayed away from it.
Here is BMW's shot of the ActiveHybrid 3 in Liquid Blue and my shot's of my E90 in Bluewater. There was an awful picture of an F30 316d ES in Liquid Blue which looked a right dog but that is below base model and it was a poor picture. Can't find that one unfortunately.

Looks like Mineral Grey is the undisputed champion colour. I'm soooo glad I chose it.

Maybe somewhat predictable on the M Sport..... I went for EBII.
Done white & black cars to death over the last 5 years, a wee change is in order. |

I'm with JustinTJ on this, I like to see my car very far away in a parking lot. That way, I can hone into it and stare. Way too many shades of black and white out there. Either Melbourne Red or Estoril Blue was for me, but I have blue now, so I'll stick with it
