BMW doesn't recognize my wife's fob

We have comfort access on my 2013 335ix and it always automatically sets my profile when I drive but never remembers my wife's when she needs the car. Any idea how to fix? She is pretty annoyed that she always has to manually select her profile.

Is the whole profile not switching, or just the seat position?

If it's just the seat position, you need to make sure the Settings -> Door Locks -> "Last seat position auto" option is enabled.

There are also several threads that discuss the issue of profiles and seat positions. You might check those out too.

The fob controlling the profile and seat positions is a must have for me as my wife if a lot shorter than me and we switch between profiles all the time. It works really well for us.

Hah! I don't think she pissed off the car but maybe it just doesn't like her driving style!

It is the whole profile, iDrive settings and seat position, that doesn't switch. I'll keep searching.

I going to try following this guide, step by step:

Hopefully we just missed the unlock, set profile, lock combination that supposedly associates the fob with the profile. Wish me luck!
