Really? Guys, forget all the different models and designations. If they make a car that let's you drive, screams down the straights, and looks good doing it then that's all we need. Pick the one that fits your needs, shut up, and drive.

With the "M550d" apparently now "confirmed" with AWD, it looks like they might be finally addressing the AWD performance car enthusiast. I would not be surprised to see similar non-diesel models follow throughout the BMW product range.

THANK YOU!!!

I was thinking this as I read through all the pages. What does it matter if you can still get the car you want. BMW is giving options. Once I can still get my sport package, I am good to go.

I remember in the 80's when Audi (VW) were called Audi 80,90 then in the early 90's 5000 etc. Now their equivalent of the 3 series is more and more dxesigned like a 3series that had a 50/50 weight distribution, with the engine longitudinal layout since the 80's.
Back then there were still 3/5/7 series(sedans).yeah it's a coincidence that Audi now has A4,A6,A8(sedans),also that they re slowy goin toward a 50/50 weight distribution
