Hi,I own a 2015 435d
Car hasn’t missed a beat in the 5 years of ownership.
Until today
Started it up and the dashboard lit up like Blackpool lights,
With error after error
Parking brake fail.
Park assist fail ( doesn’t have park assist )
Roof not closed secure ( not a soft top )
Showing needs all service due, brakes, inspection,fluids and all told should be scheduled on 01-01-2000
It also thinks it’s a 1 series as that’s the picture coming up on the screen.
Could any body give me a pointers,
Clearly some software has been effected

You need to scan for codes.

I've seen that after a power disconnect (unplug-reconnect the battery). If power is good, it would heal itself after a couple blocks of driving.
