BMW F30 3 Series Strips to Reveal Front Bumper Styling + Bonus Nurburging Pics
BIMMERPOST NEWS BMW F30 3 Series Strips to Reveal Front Bumper Styling + Bonus Nurburging Pics Just 2 weeks to the day before its debut, the F30 has shed more of its camouflage, revealing the lower front bumper and sideskirts. If the F20 1 series is any indication, it's possible we could be looking at the F30 Sport Line model. As pictured below, the F20 Sport Line also features a very similar design on its bumper inlets - with horizontal bars running from the fog lights. Like the F20, the 2012 F30 3 series is expected to be available in different 'lines' - possibly a Sport Line, Modern Line, and Luxury Line. For F30 debut info, including engine lineup and sales/production schedule see - http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=592042 Compare to F20 1 Series Sport Line model Our render based on previous spy photos: And here's some bonus F30 photos from a recent Nurburgring test session, showing off its attractive proportions and stance as it hunkers down on high speed turns. Thanks and credit goes to Wilco Blok for the photos! |

I have a feeling it will be very classy. Hopefully it doesnt lose its sporty look that the E90 had. IMO

Front reminds me somewhat of the F20 front, especially with the look of the eyes - not feeling that.
The front on the new M3 seems nicer to me - sleeker and more aggressive. Rest of proportions look nice. Looking forward to reveal. Hope we will get spypics of the new coupe not long from now!

Thanks south. I didn't realize M-Sport was basically a trim line along side the urban and sport, rather than an addition on top of one or the other (or both). Seems like someone might want those funky white mirrors and wheels along with an M Sport bumper (for example).

I saw this exact car on Saturday in Nürnberg. Alstadtfest. We were leaving and the driver was with his significant other entering the lot. Didn't have my camera but the F30 with camo would have been the least interesting car parked there- Porsche speedster, a brand new 911 and new Lamborghini with red temp tags. Oh and a matte black Defender 110. Countless other exotics- my new favorite lot to drool in!
I've seen the lights at night and they are special I also think that this red car may nit be the sport model as I have seen another with a more aggressive front, but maybe red is sport and the blue was M sport. Dunno and don't really care bc from my eyes it doesn't look huge- something I am not used to seeing with a new model!

Still waiting to see how the headlamp cluster merges into the kidney grill before saying, "I Must Have It."
