Really though, my only major annoyances with the f30 are how the kidney grilles stick out and how the angel eyes are like squared off. I'm sure that this can be fixed if a vendor decides to create their own version, but OEM is always better to be left alone when it can. However, I will have to see myself in a F3X in the future. I won't be able to do without the upgrades in performance and features. But my favorite part of the F3x is the interior. I love the cabin upgrades. |

In the main, it's rather hand to make a two door car downright butt ugly. There's no denying the E9x body is handsome. I suspect the F-coupes will be handsome too and that they will retain the same conservatively handsome character of the E9x series. Of all the things BMW are, stupid enough to make style statements in their bread-and-butter cars such that large percentages of people could even teeter on thinking them aesthetically unappealing isn't one of them. At the worst, the new F-coupes will be mundanely attractive, which is more or less the kind of good looks the E9x has. I'd be quite surprised if the F-coupes actually are unequivocally gorgeous, an instant classic car that, flaws aside, people of all stripes yearn to have.

I love it. One of my main worries was that it wasn't going to be a hardtop, and they weren't going to continue the rear-window-to-truck transition. From these photos, it looks like they're practically using the same power top and that is 100% fine by me. The top worked awesome and I liked the lines of the e93 over the e92 (which looked too bubbly to me. Looked like the designer started with "Hey, lets make it a hatch!... Oh crap, I was drawing a coupe? Let me fix that".)
Everyone has a different opinion obviously. But if thats how it looks, the F33 may be the first brand new car I buy once released. If it comes in x-drive (depending on weight), even more so. It'd be nice if BMW used Carbon Fiber for the F33 top to cut down on the weight difference between the Coupe and Vert though (but maybe I'm just being greedy). Can't wait to see it in person. |

Finally.
Now hopefully like the rest of the planet the photographers have decided to join Team Who gives a.... rather than team Ed or Bella. And get some motivation and go out and snap the M4 Coupe, MINI Paceman and a new Rolls-Royce model.

i think its pretty good when a heavely camo car with fake shitty lights and swirls all over it looks like a mustang, that says alot about how superior BMW is. take the wrapping off and boom its a BMW. point is we cant judge the car with camo on. same with the F30 that we now know isnt a mustang and the upcoming F32.

I'm sure it'll be like every other BMW. Not great looking but good looking and all BMW including M3's look OK in pictures but when you see them on the street you can't help but going....hmmm that looks good.

2014?!? I guess I'll pick up a 2012 SLK to hold me over--my 2009 E93 is getting dated...

Hard to picture the final product not like the M3 which is looking to be very good even in camo.
