I thought about putting together a combination in parallel to get even closer, but the space in the connector housing looks like it would be a bit constrained. Anyway, I have the exact resistor so I should be OK.

Not surprised, but I don't get why they won't let you retrofit it on the F30 like you could on the E90. The hardware is definitely there and I think the case in point is even stronger as its now packaged for 2013.

Edit: Wait.. do you mean the amber turn signals (well, white in your case lol), or the fog lights during cornering?

No rush bro. I know you are busy. Hehe. Yup just the corner/turn signal lights. When you turn on your lights, they stay lit all the time. If we can turn them off and just light up when signaling. That would be awesome!

It's ok, I was browsing a bit through the codes and such and I think I might be on to something, not entirely sure but will see if I can test it out tomorrow (too dark now lol). I can see why you want it, and seeing how I'm getting the same lights soon I figured I probably want it myself as well haha

For those with the cold weather package, it's indeed possible to select the amount of intervals in between, you can turn it completely off (which is what I did with my own car just now), you can select how many sprays you want and some more things.. the PDF contains that what I played around with for a bit

I'm not sure I understand what's written in this thread, but I really hope it can help me getting on with my retrofit plans.
I trying to figure out what I need to retrofit cruise control and USB/BT. If I get all the right parts, will the coding that is described in this thread be able to get the stuff working?

Thanks for sharing this help lots of people who didn't have the options with the car, shame on BMW some options they should give to most BMW cars as standard to become a leader of the car industry, but when they think about $$$$ Money yeah get options let people pay for it.
I don't know some options most JAP cars give as standard!!!

Is it possible to change the engine parameters ourselves? I have no clue how companies like Dinan change the ECU. Does anybody know how many parameters are changed and how they test it out?

This is amazing. The first I'm going to do when I get my F30 is get rid of auto start stop, the seatbelt warning, and the message on the iDrive.
Thanks again Last edited by Mahzari; 06-08-2012 at 11:34 AM.. |

Didn't have much time after work today, but got a good start on the cable. Just need to solder the resistor and assemble the casing. I'll probably work on this on Saturday. Exciting!
