I do, I'm still trying to find out how to do the installation. Anyone know?

I just did it. The shift pattern is actually a sticker. Remove that and there's a T9 screw underneath. Be sure to swap the little white plastic light diffuser over from the old one

anybody have suggestions on removing the door pieces? At the lower edge, there's a spring clip and a slot to access it. I took one piece off and had such a hard time, I'm not inclined to do the others unless I'm sure I'm doing it right.

This image I made up as a guide might help you a bit. Keep in mind, there is an angle to both the removal and install process, look at the tabs, they are angled.

so, there's no trick. Basically, working from bottom to top, loosen the perimeter tabs until they're all clear and then you're working against the metal clips. That's basically what I did for the first one I tried.
And....there's L/R x 2 but no LF, LR, RF, RR....correct?

If that M-Performance press release was out which stated the labor charges, I would have spent $80 to have the dealer do it vs $150 to replace the two door pulls I broke lol. Now that I installed them all I am much more confident I could remove them without breaking any.

Yep....I knew the labor charge and wanted to have my wife take it in but she asked me to try and get it done while I had some free time yesterday. The dash was easy (save the one connector for the hazard/lock button).

Yep, I did all the other pieces in 8 minutes. The doors though, I probably rushed, hence breaking two of them lol.

There are small indentations on the clips, you press in the tab in the indentations and wiggle the clips free.

Why are you removing the centre dash wires? The whole airvent and button etc unclips from the trim. look at the top and the bottom, there are clips on the top and bottom. I just attacked the top with my pry tool and it clipped off. No wire removal required. See below pic from first post. see those clips on the top. Just pop it off and the hole vent comes off. Just refit vent into new trim and there is no removal of wires required! I managed to change all the trims in <15mins. its not as bad as it seems. |
