First BMW 3 Series GT Video - Nurburgring Testing
BIMMERPOST NEWS First BMW 3 Series GT Video - Nurburgring Testing We bring you the first video of the F34 3 Series Gran Turismo (GT) in action. 335i GT Prototypes were spotted on and around the Nurburgring as it recently began its performance testing at the Ring. The 3 Series GT is being tested concurrently with the other future F3x variants - the F32 coupe and F33 convertible. The overall apperance of the 3 series GT will follow the 5 Series GT in having some independent styling from the other 3 series variants. Unlike the 5 Series GT however, it will feature a simple hatch design/function rather than the twin trunk arrangement. It should also have sportier styling and driving intentions than the 5 Series GT, which its retractable spoiler seems to be a sign of. Expect the 3 Series Gran Turismo to debut sometime in 2013 and in both gasoline and diesel models. Catch more spy photos @ http://www.bimmerpost.com/spyshots/ Some recent spy photos: |

Dear god that is some epic body roll. I guess that could make it feel less isolating???
Even though it does roll as much as a crib it does look strangely entertaining. |

You can't honestly judge the body with that wrap on it.. They hide the majority of everything. Will have to see in due time.. I agree though looks a little odd. Especially the grill? They most likely aren't using correct body parts and are just testing the rest of the design.. Who knows! Haha

FWIW, I had my 5GT in for some work today, the guy who took care of me had a 328i, he said he thought it was beautiful. If you look at some of the men and women out there, their partners think they're the most beautiful person in the world...you opinion is one of millions, and personally, I don't care. That's why there's lots of models, color combinations, and options. If you can believe BMW, over 50M choices. Otherwise, it would all be like the original Model-T anything you want as long as it is black with a zero option on anything.

Beauty always remains subjective, but that isn't even why the 5erGT was made. It was made from the inside out, and that is the better quality in almost every choice in life, IF we were lucky enough to see so clearly.

Thats the way to test the car before you proceed into production.

I have to wonder what the point of all this recent product proliferation is. Seems like BMW is trying to produce a product for EVERY LAST NICHE of the market. At what point are they simply cannibalizing sales of their own product? I mean, it seems like the mostly likely buyer for the GTs () would be somebody who doesn't want the Touring rather than somebody cross-shopping from another brand. :
