I test drove a AH3 last wed on a open highway here and on a 20 miles stretch car was showing Average MPG at 35.8 and I was enjoying it on certain parts. I could see 40.
I do about 17 miles to work each way each day and about 11 of it is highway.

Again, not trying to burst any bubbles here.. but there are around 7 of us here with an AH3, and as far as I can tell (and has been reported), the EPA estimates are pretty spot-on. I only stress this point here, because it is important for potential buyers to have proper expectations. I also recommend signing up at Fuelly.com so you have a nice/easy way to track mpg when you get your new car. |

You can see mid-30's and a bit more in steady state cruising on relatively flat sections of highway. Once there is traffic, etc. all bets are off. That is, the real world gets in the way.

Thats cool, I will let you know how it goes, it will certainly be better than my 550xi Gt that averages 17-18 combined.

Yes, I have the summer tires.. Continentals ContiSports. They are decent enough, but the grip is still the weak point of the car. Remember I came from an M3, so everything is going to pale in comparison. Suspension and steering is wonderful with the DHP. |

I bought this car because it was fast. I bought my wife's X5 diesel because the gas mileage was great.
Can't wait to get it next weekend. It's at the port. |

Hey guys AH3 owner here, so curious to see if anyone else that owns one has re mapped it yet ? I have stage 1 ecu and the re mapped gearbox 8speed transition, (XHP ZF) she’s a beast but haven’t jumped on a Dyno yet
Any know how accurate the sports displays are on these bad boys? |
