I love the sound and styling of the M Performance exhausts. Aggressive yet subtle -- perfect.

sounds good...better than stock for sure, but only marginally so. get's a "meh, not bad" from me. do you have the same fitment problems (tips sticking out too much and hanging too low) as others?

So far I'm happy with it, honestly if I have the car past its warranty period I would choose something more like the Challange cat back system. Better sound, better hp gain. Sometimes when I drive it I wish it was a bit louder.

As for the fitment I know some people had issues, but I addressed that in my D.I.Y. How to properly adjust the muffler so you don't get those problems. Here check out the DIY http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=768703

I agree it is. Cheapest exhaust I could find and that isn't the regular price either. Challange is like 1500-1600 bucks. I know it's nicer sound and more power but I wanted 0 issues with my warranty.

Thank you for sharing. Sounds nice.
Two questions. Are you auto or M/T? And any droning?

Cheers

Weak... Sounds better than a stock E92 335i, but way weaker than 335i w ppk and m exhaust and 335is

For the price it may be worth it and I'm sure it sounds meaner in person

still better than stock

Auto, no droning at all. When I did the golf tee mod and when I cruise in comfort its slightly deeper tone in the cabin but barely. Still no drone though.

Yep the e9x 335i with the n54 sounded sweet out of the box especially the 335is. I can see a lot of people expecting way more out if the m perf exhaust, but this is pretty much it. It's definitely not for everybody.

this one is def not that loud...sounds great, gives enough growl and umph, and on the inside, it's pretty subtle...

Great video though!
Sport mode makes the throttle more responsive. And that overrun burble can be really heard in sport mode.

If that is your worry, have no fear this exhaust is perfect for you. No drone, oem 100%, won't make it sound like a race car so every 18 year old tries to run you. Very subtle and just enough to let you know the car has some nice power behind it.

A huge meh. I am not impressed by the sound at all and, since this is only an axle-back system, that's the only thing to judge it on. How is it that Eisenmann makes an exhaust for the N20 4-banger sound 100 times better and more aggressive than the supposed engineers that worked on this? So sad..

it's not for everyone, for sure.

It sounds MUCH better inside, and gives enough growl that you know you're driving something special.

Outside, it sounds pretty good and not too obnoxious or ricey...I heard my wife drive away once and was actually surprised. It's tame up close, but snarls from far away.
