Disappointing, it looks nothing like the concept. It's basically a 2 door version of the F30, not enough to warrant the "4" label IMO.
I think the E92 M-Sport looks better, definitely from the front. |

I'm assuming this was meant to be "single turbo" on both, right?

Wow. I'm a bit shocked at how far from the concept this is, specially since Scott said that the concept was very close to the production version. I'm sure the M4 will still be pretty, but I'm starting to lean more and more toward a Cayman S instead.

BMW is using single-twinscroll turbos. not twin turbos. big difference.

+1 part of the reason for getting a car like this is that there are no 'blah' versions of it with bad headlights and small wheels driving around, I guess we were wrong

Just like some people overreacted to the concept, some are overreacting to this. Its toned down because its on 17" winter wheels wearing camo and dirty. Don't expect the glamour bits of the concept, but it will still be a beautiful car. Plus it makes a lot more sense to me that the price difference would only be about 2000 euro which is similar to what it is currently.

Maybe it's the camouflage but I am really disappoint with the 4 series now. I really hope it's the camo that is giving me this false feeling. It looks exactly the same as an F30 with Msport. At least the E92 had a different front. Now BMW moved the coupe to an upscale series and their brightest plan is to make the 4 have exactly the same front as the 3 and charge more money? Shit, what gives?
The rest of the car is stunning nevertheless.

I like how the rear diffuser is more pronounced than the tiny one on the F30. This one looks more like like the F20 M sport or the M Coupé diffuser.
The color seems a nice Valencia Orange-like color, with a more red hue in it. They'll probably use the same approach as they did on the M6 series, (sakhir Coupé and blue cabrio). This would translate in EBII as leading color for the F30 and this red for the F32 M Sport versions. |

I think a lot of people are forgetting this is a "Camo".
It's suppose to look normal and sometimes ugly. Most car manufacture fit fake body panels over the real thing to cover it up. That's the point of it, is to throw people off until the real thing come. So relax people!

BMW has people on emotional roller coasters right now. Not sure why people are judging photos of a car with standard wheels, xdrive, and standard headlamps. The only thing it has is M sport which we can't make out due to all the camo. Clearly that would be as far from concept as possible. We'll be somewhere in the middle between the two.
