This car looks great...and even more promising to me at Scott's comments about the 4 series. I can't wait to see what my e92 replacement is going to look like! Great viral marketing going on here with these tantalizing "spy" shots and some "insider" comments.

The base is enthused!

Looks nice. This one reminds of the 2006 330i but mixed with a Z4. Haha

Looking good so far, looks like it will also have a heads up display. Probably also an optional feature.

To me, the F10 is MEH so count me in as a detractor if these pics are accurate and it looks like a mini-5'er. I was liking the looks of the A4 more than the E90 and the F10 (if it looks like a mini-5) isn't going to change my mind.

Yep, it sucks to have a 5 within that concept but great to have the new 3. Glad I passed on the overly bloated sedan and will wait for this. Hopefully the drive isn't as numb as it's brethren.

BMW NA has kept a lot of good things from our market, I hope they make the beige dash and wheel one of them one of the bad things they keep off order lists. The F30 is completely unoffensive, but a beige dash and wheel is completely hideous and wretched. It's easy enough to swap out to a black steering wheel, but dash, not so much.

I would seriously be interested to see the external size dimension difference between this new 3 and the 7 series from say 1997

Looks very nice so far. Let's hope for no (or less bad) electric steering, and also that those of us that love the coupe don't get gouged too badly by this 4er foolishness.

Garage List
Good looking car initially but I'd like to see some more photos.

And also the size?!?!?! What about people who do not want a large sedan but something between a 1er and a 3er? Instead of catering to a larger vehicle segment clientel focus on what made the e3/46 cars great. This is why I bought the 1M while BMW still made fun driving, small cars that weren't built to cater to a larger, different group of people. You are making BMWs like the Big 3 in the 70's (too big and forced to downsize after the competition already has... in case you don't know).

Yeah it really does in comparison to the hood/bonnet and it has nothing to do with the angle Scott.

5er is a great looking car IMO. Hopefully it'll drive as good as it looks.

I bet it will definitely be bigger, in both size and weight, than the e39 which is truly disappointing. Because what if you don't want something as large and need four doors??? Nothing.

Looking very good, nice balanced design.

Nobody that knows anything about BMW would have expected a revolutionary design with the new 3ér.

A Scott26 said, foto's taken from elevated position, possibly through glass, will wait with final verdict until seen in the flesh- looks very promising though!!

Looks great!

So happy it looks like a small F10, and not like a large F20.

Roundel placement. Yuck.

I know the hood line is higher so it has to be this way, but I do NOT like how the roundel is not on the hood. It looks so awkward. HELL no.

And thats no bad thing! The E90 LCI is awesome and this car (from these shots) looks spectacular!! Bring on the F30 - our new car for 2012

I wonder if this profit is coming from more efficient production (shared technologies with other models) or from price increase...
