Spied: Alpina B4 Coupe Bi-Turbo Testing on The Ring
BIMMERPOST NEWS Spied: Alpina B4 Coupe Bi-Turbo Testing on The Ring Alpina has just pulled off the wraps on its F30 D3 at the 2013 Frankfurt show after showcasing its F30 B3 at the Geneva show earlier this year. The next model up for the company will be the B4 Coupe Bi-Turbo. Should the B4 Coupe Bi-Turbo come with the same powerplant as the B3, we will see it put down 410 HP / 443 LB-FT from a twin turbo inline 6 motor. Thankfully, per usual, Alpina takes the understated and subtle approach for its cosmetic upgrades to the 4 Series, with a small front lip spoiler, color matched air breather vent trim, classic 21 spoke Alpina wheels, trunk spoiler, rear diffuser, lower suspension and quad exhaust tips. Look for the Alpina B4 to make its debut at the upcoming 2014 Geneva auto show in March 2014. |

The painted side vents look better than the black vents that I have seen on other coupes.

Engine
I was at Frankfurt IAA and happen to saw the new engine of B3 Biturbo (410-420HP, 600NM by their spec).
It seems to be an n55, except a few changes... Intercooler is larger than the factory one, pipes are different and yes, they use those old-school single-scroll turbos from n54 instead of using n55 twin-scroll turbo. I dont know wheather thos n54 factory singles are modified or not. Laszlo |

All aplina really does cosmetically is add the same style rims to every car and just have some minor things to a non m package car, could they make them atleast more aggressive then the standard 3 series.....

So this is an alpine model that is pretty much the same as the m3/m4?
No wonder they won't import this I'd assume it would kill m3/m4 sales
