What is the best oil for my 2013 N47 320d
Hi All,
I am fairly new to BMW ownership and I have always liked to look after my cars as much as I can. I am trying to find the best oil for my 2013 320d N47 engine. I tend to do my oil and filter changed every 5-7k on previous vehicles and I will still do this with my 3 series. I have heard some bad things regarding timing chains on the N47 so I just want to make sure I keep the oil changes up and use the best oil to prevent anything happening. Are you in the UK? Shell (Pennzoil in the US) is the current factory fill for these cars, though any oil that meets BMW LL-04 or ACEA C3 specs will do.
