Yeah! Awesome, if it works from the fob and has a button on the trunk, sign me up!

We did not have a chance to test if it would fit.
You could send us a few pictures of your trunk lid hinge by email and we will try to figure out if it might work.

I can't see a reason why it wouldn't but our development car has a regular trunk lid, so I can't confirm. You can send us pictures of your trunk lid hinge and if it's the same like in a regular version then it will work just fine.

If you currently can open your trunk with the foot kick it will still work with our power trunk retrofit.
Also the button on the dash will let you open and close the trunk.
Finally there is a new button in the kit which you will install on the trunk lid to close the lid.

this is great. However i think the most important question is there safe guards built into this.

With all the cars i have owned with auto boot lid, if you put your hand or any object in its way it still wont force shut. extremely important with children

Absolutely. It has a safety mechanism built in, so if there is an object blocking the trunk lid it will stop.

The final pricing hasn't been set yet but it could be around $700 shipped for the complete plug and play kit.
If there is enough interest we could do a group buy with an introductory pricing.
