Front left steering making clicking sounds

My 2017 330i xDrive is making strange clicking noises on the drivers side. Stopped at a light and steering wheel loosely moved to the left in sport mode. Clicking when backing out of parking spaces and driveway. What is going on?

Front drive axle. Get under and inspect for a ripped boot or leaking grease from that side drive axle.

I would hope not on a brand new vehicle. I have the exact same thing. BMW says it's normal

I'm taking it in this morning. The crunching sound that I am hearing cannot possibly be normal!

Here is the cause.

Apparently, a backing plate for the rotor was not straight. No issues. Still sketchy, that means my brakes were wonky. Also, have to put down $1360 to get new tires. Car was a loaner and tires are wearing. Unreal.

Do yourself a favor and consider getting a set of go-flats. Many of us have switched from run-flats are are very pleased both with longevity and ride improvements.
