Question Door Seals

I Just noticed my 2015 cpo f31 has a bit shredded door seal on the driver side.

I wish I saw this on the lot as I would have tried to get it fixed for the deal. I asked today and they just said, this part is not under warranty. Geez, you would think the cabin should be properly sealed from dust and moisture to be "certified".

I see online they are about $100 and I'm just wondering if I can do it myself.

I saw this video of a E39 replacement:

Anyone know if the procedure is pretty much the same? I don't want any surprises.

Anyone know what a dealer would typically charge for that?

Thank you.

Thank you for that. Although I should have been more clear. I meant the seal that is for the door, but is on the body. Like in that video.

Garage List
Yes, the F3x body door seal removes/installs in the exact same manner - even a caveman could do it

Now that you mentioned it, I'd be screwed then as I'm dumber than a doornail Especially if there is adhesive tape involved!!!!
