On my 2013 F30 which is CIC I updated my maps to the 2017 Premium succesfully over the weekend, using the USB 1/2/3/4 method. Parts 1-3 took about 15 mins each while part 4 took nearly 2 hours. Was that normal?

No, not at all. Part 4 should have been same, about 15 minutes. Something was not right with USB4. Maybe the Drive is going bad.

It was the same drive I used for Part 1 (I was moving files in and out since I only had a couple of 8gb USB drives to use). The install eventually finished and my Nav system rebooted back up fine, but I thought that was really weird.

It is definitely not normal. Maybe CIC Hard Drive issue where USB 4 was being written to then.
