Hi all,

I have a CIC retrofit in my car and it was coded by a third party at the time. All worked well and I had the navigation arrows and directions appearing in my instrument cluster which I found useful. However ever since a BMW service I have lost this function and it no longer appears when I cycle though the options with the button on the stalk. All I have is the usual range and consumption etc.. but no Nav directions.

Can anyone direct me to how to code this back in using ESys? I can’t seem to find the option anywhere in KOMBI. Thanks!

Do u have hud? Arrows can onl b in hud or on cluster not both. If no hud is option ticked in I drive under instrument cluster? If so u need coding.

Or try vo coding kombi with 7/13 build date or whatever urs is if after 7/13

I dont have a HUD. In iDrive settings (Info display section), the Navigation option is ticked but does not appear on the instrument cluster when I cycle though the options.

Car is December 2010 build date.

Check with FDL coding: HU_NBT or HU_CIC --> KOMBI_CIC --> kombi_high

I have tried changing it to Kombi_High now but no change unfortunately.

Thanks Ibo24, your post saved my instrument cluster navigation. Some how mine disappeared after I use E-sys try some coding with my car.

Hi all,
I have a similar problem on a 65reg 428i, since installing a retrofit rear view camera coded with Bimmercode the options in iDrive for "Instrument cluster display" cannot be selected (they are visible) and as a result do not show in the instrument cluster (only the basic, fuel consumption and mileage to go shows).
Appreciate any help. I tried to revert the coding but no change, I tried to find the code above from Ibo24 but cannot find where the Kombi code live.

You will need to use esys instead of bimmer code and inject cafd in trsvc and vo code HU,KOMBI,TRSVC,REM
