What you are showing is probably just about the audio during the phone call that goes through Oem bt. I noticed that you have aux, so it's rather the sound that comes from it. When you select media source, the phone won't play the sound, it will start working when you select aux source. If I'm wrong, please correct me and if possible, make a video of what it looks like for you

https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/40001...231122b7pV1HLp Hope this NL url directed to your country too. On the website choose for CIC system edit: You can scroll down and read.... quote: BMW 3 Series F30 F31 F34 2013-2016 with NBT system /quote Your car is from 2012 then you have BMW CIC system, but check yourself before buying. I hope this helps. ps. Wifi and Bluetooth are build in the MMI box with an external antenna supplied, so you can connect your phone with USB cable or wireless. Would you recommend this unit for my 2016 440i?
https://bavarian-automotive.co.uk/co...39516037447832 Or this one from Droiduk? https://droiduk.com/product/mmi-box/ Did any of you add a front-facing camera? It's one of the main reasons I'm getting this unit, but not sure what camera to go for and where to install.

I found this thread after I contacted Andream for an update...
Here's a newer version for Andream B-Version [NBT] [GEMINI_PACK.BIN] Model: EW-BMCP-NBT02B Download link:(B2_V1.6.5) https://mega.nz/folder/HZpWxDYT#oPFSWCky9A8X3FoLuZzseA and Here's a newer version for Andream B-Version [1] [CICHL] [GEMINI_PACK.BIN] Download link(CHL_V1.6.5): https://mega.nz/folder/KRxnCQIQ#3PLVhtmLQQsEPCOhpiwAOA One is for F series circa 2014 (M235i) and second one is for E series Circa 2012 (1M) Both links were sent to me directly from Andream. Same password 5025 Ps. Are there any difference? lol I just asked for an update as it seems like after 18 months of having it, things like spotify and waze doesn't work as smoothly... need using phone to press play music first or start a route on phone first before it works on apple carplay.

As far as mounting, there are lots of options. if you really want a "general" front view, there are some that snap into the front grill or mount in the lower grill. My goal was to see what my car's lower lip might be hitting, so I chose license plate mount and pointed it almost straight down - which limits it's usefulness to JUST parking. So overall it works but for me is of limited value (I don't parallel park much), but works perfectly and has a very good/clear picture. hold down the MMI "Option" key to display it at any time. I buy two from Aliexpress from the GreenYi one for the front and one for the back. The front cam is very sturdy has full metal cover with glass lens this one use wide degree 150% near fish eye angle and has Nigjhtvision. Very sensitive in low light conditions. So you can see all things in front of the car. Disavantage is the cars, people ect are are a bit 'bolling' as you know want I mean. But for me it's ok I want to see everything in front. I mounted very low as you can see because I don't want put it in the airtake or the screw mount opening for the drag eye on the left hand side. This cam has a long M5 screw and fits on the plastic air leader. Front cam can switches to on all the time you like. But normal use is auto switching while driving forward and driving afterward the two cams switching auto depending on de rev or forward position of the gear (auto) stick GreenYi shop. Maybe this NL url won't work outside, otherway search for the shop in your Aliexpress country version. https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/40003...78797395%22%7D Last edited by RAAF12; 01-18-2022 at 07:42 AM.. |

Seems like a good camera - perhaps I can hide it inside the grille as I prefer it to be less noticeable. Underneath the front splitter would be too low and ideally I would like to see the tip of the splitter as that is what I'm trying to protect (pointing down a bit, but not all the way down as in previous post). I see it comes in white too, so could perhaps be quite subtle just above the splitter, attached under the front bumper: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/10050...55381903%22%7D

Which MMI would you recommend in 2022 for a 2016 BMW f36? Is the one linked in the 1st post from 2019 still the one to get? For me, the audio quality and ability to install a front camera is most important

The NBT version is needed for your 2016 model. Front and rear cam is no problem the MMI unit has 2 video input wires for connection both. Sound can be difficult, I know from experience MP3 sound is much better on stereo front and rear speakers when using music on a USB stick connected to the USB cable to the MMI box. The box has it's own music/video player. I've read here some users have good sound. My audio wireless streaming from phone is not poor but directly from USB is much better. |
